The most meaningful analysis to compare the relative performance and cost effectiveness of various remedial technologies is to quantify the removal cost of the contaminant (i.e. $/pound or $/gallon to remove the contaminant). Contaminant removal costs is true measure when comparing the cost effectiveness of various technologies.
